Recently, a batch of big module forged helical gears from Henan Sankuang Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. finished precision machining and final inspection for delivery. For material selection, our engineering team selects alloy steel according to load, working temperature and fatigue life requirements. Common grades include 40CrNiMo, 34CrNi3Mo and 42CrMo. Forged blanks are produced in accordance with JB/T 6396, avoiding internal inclusion and porosity. Compared with cast gears, forged blanks deliver higher density and better fatigue resistance, which fits the long-term heavy-load service of all types of helical gears.

In machining, our workshop is equipped with Niles ZP24 gear grinders, large hobbing machines and Klingelnberg gear inspection instruments. We independently complete helical gear hobbing and precision gear grinding. Machining accuracy follows GB/T 10095-88 and reaches class 6~8. Heat treatment determines the service life of heavy helical gears. We carry out quenching & tempering and tooth induction hardening tailored to specifications of helical gear sets, single reducer helical gears and customized helical gears. We carefully control heating, holding and cooling cycles to balance surface hardness and core toughness, improve wear resistance and reduce heat distortion of large workpieces.

Our quality control system covers raw material incoming check, forging, rough machining, heat treatment, finish machining and final test with full traceability. Every batch of custom non-standard helical gears goes through UT, MT non-destructive testing, hardness test and gear geometry inspection. Third-party inspection is welcome; authorized inspectors can witness the test on site and issue official reports to meet strict acceptance requirements of overseas projects and main engine manufacturers for helical gear sets and reducer helical gears.
